STAAR Test Dates:
April 8, 2025 - Reading STAAR Test
April 9, 2025 - Reading Make-up Day
April 22, 2025 - Math STAAR Test
April 23, 2025 - Math Make-up Day
On Testing Day:

Please ensure that your child has breakfast at home or arrives in time to eat breakfast when they arrive on campus.

Please send a sack lunch with your child

We will begin testing promptly at 8:00am. It is imperative that students arrive on time (7:50am) to school so that there are no interruptions to the testing environment.

Students are welcome to bring water and a healthy snack.

Students do NOT need to bring any items to school other than their lunch and a great attitude on the day of testing. This includes backpacks, bags, electronics, etc.

On test days, students may be testing until 3:00pm, so there will be no early student releases.

We ask that your student leave other electronic devices at home on the days of testing. Phones and/or any other electronic devices, including smartwatches, will not be allowed inside the testing rooms. If a student has a phone or smartwatch on a test day, these devices will be collected and kept in a secure location until after all testing is complete.

There will be no visitors allowed on campus.
Please plan ahead so your student can be at school on time and with a good night's rest. We also ask that you avoid making any appointments for your student on testing days in order for them to be able to take full advantage of the time given to test. If your child is late or absent, he/she will have to make up for the missed test on an alternate day. Early releases for reasons other than sickness may result in the student not being able to complete their test and cause disruptions to the testing environment for others.
